Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain high-quality automation frameworks using Java Selenium and Playwright.
Automate test cases for UI API and end to end testing scenarios.
Collaborate closely with developers product owners and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps etc.).
Drive quality practices test coverage improvements and automation expansion.
Analyze test results identify root causes and provide detailed defect reports.
Ensure non-functional quality including performance reliability and security validations where required.
Mentor junior QA/SDET team members and promote best testing methodologies.
Actively participate in code reviews to maintain coding and automation standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes tools and practices.

Required Skills & Experience

06 years of experience as SDET/QA Automation Engineer.
Strong programming expertise in Java (OOPs collections multithreading error handling).
Extensive hands-on automation experience with: Selenium WebDriver &Playwright (Java/TypeScript preferred)
Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (TestNG JUnit BDD/Cucumber).
Strong knowledge of REST API testing using RestAssured Postman or similar.
Solid understanding of CI/CD and experience integrating automation into pipelines.
Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket for version control.
Good understanding of web technologies: HTML CSS JavaScript DOM structure.
Knowledge of cloud ecosystems (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
Experience using logging debugging and analyzing automation failures.
