SCBC is looking for a talentedIT Network and Security Administrator to join our dynamic Information Systems and Technology (IST) this role youll work with cutting-edge technology lead cybersecurity initiatives and play a pivotal part in shaping the Colleges IT infrastructure. Full Position Description: IT Network and Security Administrator
Position Requirements:
- Administer maintain and secure the Colleges IT systems including networks servers endpoints firewalls and identity platforms.
- Monitor respond and remediate cybersecurity incidents ensuring compliance and adherence to best practice.
- Support day-to-day operations across IT infrastructure cloud services and telephony systems.
- Lead improvements in IT security business continuity and endpoint management.
- Collaborate with the IST Team and provide technical guidance to staff and students.
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 4 years experience in a network systems or security administration role.
- Strong knowledge of networks Windows/Linux servers Microsoft 365 Intune virtualisation scripting and cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
- Capacity to learn adapt and manage multiple projects and priorities.
Desirable:
- Vendor certifications (Microsoft Fortinet HPE Aruba).
- IT Service Management qualifications such as ITIL.
- Experience working in an education or multi-site environment.
Essential Criteria:
- A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Active participation in a church or Christian community exemplifying Christian beliefs behaviour and practices.
- Acceptance of the Colleges Statement of Faith.
- Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with the Board Principal staff students and parents.
- Commitment to personal best practice.
- Ensure decisions are impartial fact-based and fair.
- Model appropriate and proper channels of communication.
- Consistently act in the best interests of the College and its ethos.
- Adherence to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
- Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the Colleges values and policies.
- Possession of the following certifications:
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certificate
