Lead and grow Stepstones Business Analysis team setting standards for discovery and requirements quality across complex initiatives and roadmap work. The Business Analysis function sits at the intersection of Business Product and Technology partnering closely with Product and Tech to enable effective discovery prioritisation solution design and delivery.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the BA function: own the vision operating model and best practices for business analysis across Stepstone.
- Partner with Product and Tech: build strong relationships with Product and Technology leadership to align on goals scope feasibility and delivery approach.
- Ensure strong discovery and requirements: oversee gap analysis stakeholder alignment and requirements definition for complex initiatives ensuring work is ready for development teams.
- Develop the team: line-manage coach and grow Business Analysts; implement skills and career frameworks; build a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence.
- Set governance and consistency: put in place lightweight governance for requirements capture and analysis that balances autonomy with cross-company consistency.

Your skills and qualifications:
- Significant experience leading the Business Analysis function in large complex fast-paced organisations.
- Strong people leadership: building coaching and scaling high-performing Business Analysis teams.
- Proven ability to assess business analysis and organisational maturity identify systemic issues and drive improvement in analysis quality and outcomes.
- Expert in discovery and requirements (elicitation validation refinement) for complex initiatives and change.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication: able to align Business Product and Tech leaders and translate insights into actionable analysis artefacts and clear requirements.
