Sustainability & Climate Product Management Intern

We are looking for an intern in Mexico city or Monterrey!

The Sustainability & Climate Product Management Intern role sits within MSCIs Sustainability and Climate Product team. The team is responsible for designing building and launching client-facing sustainability and climate products tools and analytics that support investors in understanding climate risks opportunities and transition pathways.

The intern will work closely with Product Managers Data Engineering and Research teams gaining exposure to the full product lifecyclefrom early ideation and data exploration to client-facing delivery and product launch.

Working as part of a global product management team the intern will support a range of initiatives across product development data analysis and operational efficiency including:

• Support the development ofclient-facing dashboards tools and analytical solutions including testing validation and documentation
• Contribute toproduct development projects supporting ongoing initiatives led by Product Managers across climate and sustainability offerings
• Help document and improveinternal processes workflows and efficienciesrelated to product development and delivery
• Supportcross-functional collaborationwith Research Data Technology and Client Coverage teams
• Assist withproduct-related materials including internal documentation presentations and launch support
• Gain hands-on exposure to theend-to-end product lifecycle from early concept and design through to client launch and post-launch enhancements
• Participate in ad-hoc analysis and exploratory work related to sustainability climate data and product strategy

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) inEnvironmental Studies Finance Economics Data Science Engineering or a related field
• Must be available for a minimum of 9 months and able to work at least 30 hours per week
• Strong interest insustainability climate change and/or sustainable finance with curiosity to learn how products are built in a financial services context
• The candidate must be based at Mexico city or Monterrey
• Comfortable workingindependently and autonomously with the ability to manage tasks and ask thoughtful questions when needed
• Strong analytical data visualization and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Sigma Tableau) or basic programming (Python SQL) is a plus but not required
• Clear and professionalEnglish communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn adapt and engage with new topics tools and processes
