About the Role
We are looking for an energetic forward-thinking Learning Delivery Development Co-ordinator to help drive innovation inspire tutors and shape the future of our provision.
The aim of this role is to assist in the management of the provision of Adult Learning within the Employability and Digital Skills team to ensure that classes are well run quality of education is high and learners are supported to enjoy and achieve in their learning. This is a varied role and within it you will also need to promote classes and recruit new learners complete all course administration and support tutors to deliver excellent lessons and manage attendance and behaviour. The role manages a pool of sessional teaching staff and are based in different locations so access to a car would be an advantage.
We currently run a thriving curriculum that is a split into two streams:
Employability - supporting adults with next steps in their careers from writing a CV interview techniques and to business support for times of change.
Digital Skills - we run courses from very basics to more specialised courses in Digital Skills. most of these courses are a qualification route.
The role is varied and challenging and different times of the year are busy in different ways! At the start of the year duties include ensuring that all classes are ready paperwork is updated and prepared and planning is complete for the forthcoming year towards the end of each term we are managing assessments and moderation submitting results and creating reports. No week is the same! There is a teaching element to this post and there is an expectation that around 20% of your time will be spent teaching courses that fit in either of the categories of the curriculum to adults face to face.
You will need to complete mandatory training linked to the role and the service.
The base is either Loughborough Thurmaston or Melton Mowbray with willingness to travel to the other sites and also to around the rest of the County when required. there is an expectation to attend curriculum and service meetings including briefings held on 3 Saturday mornings across the year) and have access to your own transportation.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
