The Advanced Radar Products Department empowers people to deliver innovative affordable and producible products and technologies to support airborne Radar and Jammer solutions throughout the full product lifecycle while remaining accountable for program execution cost schedule and performance. We provide best in industry technologies that align product capabilities to the needs of our customers and end- users. As a Production Support/Electrical Engineer II you will be part of a team of highly talented engineers that work on highly complex Radar and Jammer products and test sets for the Next Generation Jammer program. You will be working as a member of a production support team and under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney Texas.

What You Will Do:

  • Managing component obsolescence identification and mitigation
  • Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/RF/power circuitry and interfaces.
  • Work in a team environment to ensure the production and sustainment timelines are maintained.
  • Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met.
  • Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings including assembly drawings parts lists wire lists and schematics.
  • This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to remote work possibilities

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically a Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause. Ability to read & interpret drawings and electrical schematics
  • Experience in lab equipment such as multimeters signal sources oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and logic analyzers
  • Experience working on a production program
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with supplier engagement
  • Experience with documenting test results and engineering recommendations clearly and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Matlab or PSPICE
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with leadership and colleagues.

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
