As a Locum CRNA you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthetic care to patients ensuring their safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and other medical staff to develop tailored anesthetic plans while adhering to best practices and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and assess patient medical histories
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and complications
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses
- Educate patients about anesthesia and address any concerns
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
- Current CRNA certification and state licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA
- Strong knowledge of anesthetic techniques and equipment
- Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts specific dates
No call requirement
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 10 per shift
Caseload: 100% GI
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
