Job Summary
Shift: Nights 3x12s 1900-0730 Floating is required if needed Weekend coverage is required Medication System: Omnicell 1 year of EPIC experience is required Special procedures: ENT surgery-trachs laryngectomy Plastics-I&D Wound VACs General Surgery-Bowel obstructions mastectomy chole appe GSW overdose hernia repair Surgical Oncology-pancreatitis Colorectal-colectomy colostomy Special Equipment: Wound Vac PCA PICC Lines Drains Ostomy Required Certificates: BLS Active RN SC license Must have at least 2 years of experience in Medsurg Unit will review 1st time travelers based on experience Prisma Health Floating Policy for Contracted Staff Prisma Health s goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff regardless of unit or facility must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.
