Description
This contract position is on-site providing an exceptional opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare environment focused on delivering quality care to our patients.
As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive reproductive health services including prenatal care labor and delivery. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of care during their visits.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct patient examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions
- Manage labor and delivery processes
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on reproductive health and wellness
- Participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Availability to work on-site for the duration of the contract
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts specific dates
Delivery Volume: 176 per year
Will cover L&D and the ED
Support Staff: Midwife Hospitalist
EMR: Meditech
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
