Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the field of gastroenterology
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans for gastrointestinal disorders
Perform diagnostic procedures and interventions as required
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Participate in ongoing professional education and training
Stay updated on the latest advancements in gastroenterology
Provide mentorship to junior medical staff as needed

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferably in gastroenterology
Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Active medical license in the state of Texas

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p or 8a-4:30p

Call shifts required

Setting: Inpatient outpatient and OR

Procedures: Colonoscopies (diagnostic biopsy bleeding control polyp removal EMR) and EGD with biopsy dilation bleeding control or band ligation

EMR: CPRS

Any active unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
