Description
This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic medical practice environment providing essential radiological services to our patients.
As a Locum Radiologist you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and care. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on utilizing advanced imaging techniques to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays CT scans and MRIs
- Interpret radiological images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging results and patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging studies
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
- Participate in case reviews and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide guidance and support to medical staff regarding imaging practices
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical technology
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Completion of a residency in Radiology
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in radiological practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
