EduTalent Group are hiring for a Temporary Pastoral Teaching Assistant to support learners through tutorials enrichment and pastoral interventions. This role plays a key part in helping students progress academically develop personally and prepare for their next steps through structured group sessions and one to one support.
This is a part time term time only role working 22 hours per week across three fixed days: Tuesday Wednesday and Friday with the contract running until 31 March 2026 in the first instance but this may go on to be temp to perm.
Requirements
Experience working with young people in group and one to one settings
Confidence delivering engaging tutorials on safeguarding wellbeing careers and personal development
Ability to build strong relationships with students staff parents and external agencies
Experience supporting attendance behaviour and student engagement
Understanding of safeguarding and multi agency working
Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy qualification
Relevant degree such as youth work desirable
Flexible professional and student focused approach
Must hold a current Enhanced DBS dated within the last 3 years and relevant overseas police checks if applicable
