As part of a major wholeoforganisation transformation (a Tier One project) this role offers meaningful impact organisational visibility and a rare opportunity to shape how our entire Council works.

Heres what youll be up to

Were modernising the way we work transforming how Council operates and implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. As our Training Specialist youll play a central role in helping over 1700 staff confidently adopt new systems and ways of working.

You will:

  • Lead training needs analysis across the ERP program
  • Design and develop engaging accessible training resources tailored to diverse learner groups
  • Deliver and facilitate training (facetoface and digital) for staff and stakeholders
  • Coordinate logistics including scheduling enrolments venues and equipment
  • Evaluate training effectiveness report on outcomes and collaborate to drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the Change Manager Organisational Transformation Project Manager Subject Matter Experts and ERP project team to uplift capability across Council
  • Help shape a modern learning culture that supports longterm organisational change

The mustknow bits

You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check Qualification Check Working with Children Check Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied.

Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review to progress through the recruitment process.
