Premium Corporate Travel Agents will book new air hotel rail and car reservations for our business travel clients. They will also carry out changes to existing reservations such as name changes date and itinerary modifications. They take care to protect sensitive and private information and ensure that reservations are made within the confines of the Clients travel policy. They deliver good consistent customer service and will also contribute to Encores revenue and profitability by offering relevant complementary products and services. For example every air reservation request including 1 night away from the travelers home airport should include an offer to reserve a hotel within their travel policy.
Requirements
Key responsibilities
- Complete new domestic Canada and trans-border travel reservations both in the GDS and in OBTs
- Understand and communicate travel industry processes limitations rules and particularities such as flight credits fare rules upgrade policies and so on
- Understand and apply travel polices and approval flows of each of our clients
- Respect data privacy and protection policies
- Able to position complementary travel services such as hotels and car rentals
- Positions travel solutions based on loyalty programs travel policy as well as profitability
Required Skills & Experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Fluency in both written and spoken French and English
- 5 years of travel industry experience
- College Diploma (minimum)
- Travel School (nice to have)
- University Degree (nice to have)
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Domestic and trans-border geography
- Business level communication written and oral
- Soft skills related to positioning and offering travel solutions
- Ability to find and communicate global entry requirements
- TSA guideline baggage policies fare restrictions and classes
- Active listening building rapport and engagement
- Demonstrates empathy
- Sales

Required Skills and Experience 1 to 3 years of experience in sales development account coordination or business development Experience in corporate travel travel management or a related industry is strongly preferred Strong communication skills and a professional presence in writing and in meetings Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once with strong attention to detail Proficiency with CRM tools ideally Zoho Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and follow through Personal Attributes Self motivated with a strong work ethic Driven to learn and continuously improve Positive attitude with a collaborative mindset Comfortable engaging executives and decision makers
