The Role:

The ClearPar Loan Operations division is seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal communication organization and time management skills to join our global Loan Settlement Team.

The Team:

ClearPar is the first fully operational provider of par and distressed loan closing and recordkeeping services for the syndicated loan market. Through a unique combination of experienced personnel and electronic processing hardware and software ClearPar has built a single platform system to address market demands for efficient settlement of par loan closings.

Working hours: 9:00am EST to 5:30pm EST

Responsibilities:

The associate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for all onboarding data research and processing functions on the Loan Operations Team which primarily supports ClearPar users and their system functionality needs.

In this position you will gain exposure to an exciting financial market and interact daily with our clients of varying levels of seniority. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about finance banking syndicated loan market and Software as a Services (SAAS) technology.

  • As an Associate you are expected to support our clients and the business with operational duties and all loan administration functions to ensure sufficient trade and syndicated facility data integrity. These include but are not limited to accurately reviewing and maintaining asset and contract data new deal creation processing amendments creating/modifying transfer docs and primary delayed compensation syndication maintenance.

  • Strict adherence to processing deadlines quality-controlled operational processes and LSTA/LMA standards for processing of primary and secondary par loan transactions and/or trades.

  • You will be responsible for pro-actively identifying internal and external trade and system related issues effectively. This will also require the ability to work seamlessly with internal partners and management on resolution plans and/or additional escalations.

  • Your ability to capture and channel user feedback through proper communication and listening skills is imperative. You will be required to partner with leaders peers product associates sales and relationship managers on required projects to service our clients and facilitate the continuous improvement of our products and services.

  • You should be willing and able to cross train with neighboring divisions of the firm to provide an agile workforce capable of handling issues and engaging with joint clients.

  • Fluent English speaking reading and writing abilities
  • Exceptional skills in listening to clients articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with senior members of client organizations addressing their needs and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
  • Goal and action orientated with ability to organize multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage projects independently when required
  • Customer service experience from any field is a plus!

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise
  • Ability to organize and prioritize complex issues and projects to completion
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in working with internet-based applications
  • Ability to think laterally provide proper issue analyses and question current processes
  • Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient PC skills especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong process improvement skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (Finance Economics or related field preferred)
  • Work experience within the financial and/or syndicated loan industry
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest in client management or operations can be considered
  • Strong MS office (Word Excel PowerPoint) skills
