In this role you will:

A Product Owner at Actabl provides the knowledge and expertise in a specific subject business area or technical area for a project or program. Defines procedures or standards using the knowledge of what the right or best way to execute a task would be; and recommends procedural improvements. Develops performance objectives and determines acceptable performance levels. Comprehends the language terms and jargon in area of expertise; and understands required knowledge needed to determine effective decision-making being able to describe where inconsistencies irregularities or flaws may occur.


Typical Functions:

  • Assures area of expertise is clearly explained to others and serves as liaison within a department or function for questions and problems within the area of expertise.
  • Assures facts and details are correct so that the project or programs deliverables will meet the needs of appropriate parties.
  • Supports the definition of processes and policies supplies business rules and procedures and communicates the contexts in which the rules processes and polices are applied.
  • Represents a business units needs to the project team.
  • Validates the requirements and deliverables that describe product(s) or service(s); tests the product(s) or service(s) near the end of the project or program using and evaluating it for accuracy and usability; and provides feedback to the project team.
  • Provides input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and may validate executed test results.
  • Gives input into and executes user documentation and training materials.
  • Guides others working on a project to ensure the content is accurate.
  • Resolves issues relevant to project deliverable(s) within the area of expertise.
  • Obtains or provides approval for changes to rules processes and policies.
  • Partners with Customer Experience (CX) to understand voice of the customer incorporating user feedback and pain points into backlog prioritization.
  • Collaborates with Support to investigate and resolve escalated cases identifying product improvements that address recurring issues.
  • Leverages AI tools and other productivity software to increase efficiency and quality of work including AI-assisted research writing analysis and workflow automation.
  • Other duties or functions may be assigned.
Requirements

Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • 1-3 years of product ownership experience (working with SCRUM teams is a plus)
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing projects and motivating teams/individuals
  • Strong project management skills
  • Extremely analytical structured and experienced in handling several projects at the same time and high stakeholder demands
  • Passionate about consumer product experience with a history of managing projects that facilitate or enhance customer experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative team-oriented and cross-functional environment
  • Experience in working with Product Engineering and Quality to execute software projects in an Agile Environments
  • Comfortable interfacing with customer-facing teams (Support Customer Success) to translate user needs into actionable product work
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and other productivity software to increase efficiency and quality of work (e.g. AI-assisted writing research analysis and workflow automation)

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid position and will be part of our Denver office with an expectation of working three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in-office and two days (Monday & Friday) remote. Candidates located outside of the Denver Metro Area will be reviewed and considered if necessary.

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $80000 - $90000/year depending on experience. Potential for end-of-year bonus earnings and periodic merit increases also available based on company and/or personal performance.
