OurProduct Support and Logistics Division (PSLD)is one of the most innovative divisions within PSLD as within all of Caterpillar our priority is ourcustomers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly everyelement of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts DistributionofCat Parts Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities technology and operational excellence.

The Senior Business Development Manager leads the critical elementstodriveTechnician Growth through Attraction Development and Retention programs aligned with the Differentiated Dealer Capabilities and Industry Growth plans. Responsibilities include management of the Learning Systems(DPC Channel1 Marketplace) Instructional Design and Multimedia teams technician growth initiative developmentand the delivery of dealer facing technician execution. This position collaborates with the DSDs Industry / Productgroupsand dealers to achieve success.

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver on dealer technician growth goalsleveragingthe Technician Cap & Cap fundamental capability as well as the Industry Tech Cap & Cap capability for P&E (EP Marine O&G).
  • Utilize the Technician Growth Initiative to enable dealers to Attract Develop and Retain world class talent including T4WThinkBIG Cat Tech Academy educational collaboratorsWorldSkillsinstructor development Customer CampusRecruitment & Retention workshops andthe GDTC.
  • Developtraining materials (WBT ITTPs Assessments multimedia) to support technician development.
  • Leverage the Learning Systems to drive technician development (DPC Channel1 Marketplace).
  • Drivetechnician growth enable technician attractiondevelopmentand retention including development of point of use materials to drive technician safety quality efficiency and customer experience.


What You Will Have (Basic Requirements):

Strategic Thinking:Knowledge of the importance of big picture thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness toidentifyandmaintainfocus on key success factors for the organization.

Value Selling:Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling productstechnologyand services; ability to provide overall product/service value and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Summary Pay Range:

$172630.00 - $258950.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
