Job Summary

Under limited supervision manages projects through the full life cycle from project definition and approval through implementation and evaluation of all project deliverables. Provides guidance to the project team. May also serve in a lead role.

Our established client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a long-term contract position in Downtown this role you will be responsible for leading and managing various IT projects.

Responsibilities:

Work to move projects forward to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Manage project timelines budgets and resource needs.
Perform requirements gathering analysis and documentation.
Provide regular status reports to clients and other stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships ensuring customer expectations are managed.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills focused on servant leadership effective communication and pride of ownership.
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Positive team player with a focus on continuous improvement who anticipates risks and opportunities.
Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments.
Ability to create a collaborative partnership with the internal and external team members to accomplish project deliverables.

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in a technology related field and 5 years of IT Project management experience.
Strong knowledge and understanding of project management concepts.
Proficiency in various project management tools MS Project GitHub JIRA
PMP certification.
Experience with Microsoft products.
Experience working in a remote capacity
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) organizational skills.
