Job Summary
Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: New York NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 11 Months
Work Hours: 35hrs/week
Job Summary: Under the direction of the client project manager with support as needed this consultant will serve as a business and technical analyst in the HR Payroll group of FISA. The Business Analyst will support the payroll (PMS) and W2 Amendment (W2AM) applications. The analyst will analyze and document business requirements author functional and technical specifications construct additional reports investigate and resolve software issues and support testing activities including test case authoring execution and user acceptance testing.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience analyzing and documenting business requirements.
- Experience authoring functional specifications and reviewing them with business owners for approval.
- Experience authoring technical specifications for interface and conversion software.
- Ability to construct reports to supplement predefined reporting capabilities.
- Experience investigating and resolving software issues and defects.
- Ability to work with technical analysts to research problems and implement solutions.
- Experience authoring and executing test cases and documenting results.
- Experience coordinating or performing user acceptance testing activities.
- Ability to run simulations of business event processing to ensure software modifications have not introduced errors.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a Technical/Business Discipline is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HR Payroll systems.
- Experience with W2 Amendment applications.
- Experience with Integrated System Test teams.
