Position- Behavior Interventionist
Locaiton- Robert Asp Elementary School
This is a temporary position that will begin approx March 23rd andis set to terminate at the end of the 25-26 school year.
The behavior interventionist will provide Tier One and Tier Two social emotional and behavioral support to students needing additional strategies and skills. This position will collaborate with teachers and faculty employees and other stakeholders.
- Provides behavioral intervention services under the direction of the Building Administrator and the Special Services.
- Maintain accurate and timely assessment and record keeping related to family and child programming.
- Actively participate in student support teams in the assigned building.
- Provide student education and parent resources as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a field of human services such as social services education psychology and/or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the above described duties.
- Experience working with children and families.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of behavior management experience and/or experience working with students.
