JOB PURPOSE/OVERVIEW/SUMMARY:
As a Senior Associate Merchandise you will play a key role in supporting vendor management sales merchandising product sourcing and category operations. You will work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely sample management effective product selection and smooth execution of merchandising strategies that contribute to both top-line and bottom-line business goals.
KEY DELIVERABLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage end-to-end sample management including requesting follow-ups receiving organizing tagging tracking and dispatching samples.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely sample delivery quality checks and necessary approvals.
Source and identify new products based on project requirements buyer briefs and client needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of samples product options vendor details and approvals.
Track and manage multiple sample requests simultaneously ensuring prioritization and adherence to timelines.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and recommend suitable products.
Identify alternate vendors or product options when required to meet timelines pricing or quality expectations.
Support category and merchandising initiatives as assigned by senior team members.
Requirements
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATION PREFFERED:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Merchandising
Strong vendor management and coordination skills
Hands-on experience in product sourcing and identification
Good knowledge of merchandising practices and product lifecycle
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets
