The Bid / Proposal Manager (Near-Shore) is a core member of the Global Bid Management organization and is responsible for end-to-end management of RFx responses for assigned regions outside North America (primarily EMEA and APJ).
This role owns the orchestration governance and delivery of compliant high-quality RFx responses ensuring alignment with IFS messaging value proposition and bid standards. The role works closely with regional Sales Presales Delivery and Global SMEs while leveraging centralized offshore execution support where appropriate.
This position is critical to scaling IFSs global bid capability and ensuring a consistent enterprise-grade bid experience across all regions.
Key Objectives:
The Bid / Proposal Manager supports IFS revenue and growth objectives by:
- Acting as the primary owner and driver of assigned RFx responses.
- Ensuring bids are delivered on time compliant and strategically aligned.
- Applying standardized global bid methodologies while accommodating regional nuances.
- Leveraging tools such as Responsive to drive efficiency reuse and quality.
- Serving as the escalation and coordination point across internal stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bid Leadership & Governance
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned bids
- Own the bid plan timeline and delivery strategy
- Lead kick-off checkpoint and review calls
- Establish and manage internal deadlines and dependencies
- Ensure adherence to global bid standards and processes
Content & Collaboration
- Coordinate SMEs across functional technical services and corporate teams
- Dispatch and manage assignments using Responsive or approved tools
- Provide first-pass content for corporate services implementation and technical sections where applicable
- Integrate responses from multiple contributors into a consistent compelling narrative
- Tailor messaging based on prospect use cases and regional priorities
Tooling & Execution
- Set up RFx projects in Responsive including structure assignments and workflows
- Leverage approved content libraries and templates
- Work with offshore execution resources for:
- Project setup
- Content pulls and reuse
- Quality checks and formatting
- Maintain version control and compliance with RFx instructions
Strategic Support
- Partner with Sales to understand deal context and priorities
- Contribute to executive summaries cover letters and product overviews
- Participate in internal reviews and feedback cycles
- Support continuous improvement of global bid processes and assets
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting or managing complex RFx responses in an enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions (ERP EAM FSM or related platforms)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proven project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience working across global matrixed organizations
- Working knowledge of proposal management tools (Responsive preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with a bias for action and accountability
Preferred Experience
- Prior bid or proposal management experience in a regional or global role
- Familiarity with shared services or offshore delivery models
- Experience with content management and structured knowledge libraries
- Exposure to enterprise sales cycles and complex deal environments
