- Please describe your hands-on experience with LPO financing and invoice discounting. What was the typical size of the deals you assessed

- This role is full-time and based in Lagos. Can you confirm your availability to work from the office

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate credit applications with a primary focus on LPO financing and invoice discounting facilities.
- Conduct thorough risk analysis of applicants by assessing financial statements bank records and other relevant data.
- Conduct detailed due diligence including the validation of crucial documents like purchase orders invoices and contracts.
- Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports and recommendations to the credit committee or management.
- Monitor the performance of the existing loan portfolio to identify early warning signs of potential defaults.
- Collaborate with the collections team on recovery processes for non-performing loans.
- Ensure that all credit activities comply with the companys internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Credit Analyst ideally within a lending institution.
- Mandatory: Demonstrable in-depth experience in structuring and assessing LPO financing and invoice discounting deals.
- Strong financial analysis modelling and credit reporting skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. ACA ACCA CFA CIBN) are a significant advantage.
