Your Responsibilities

- You will conduct financial analysis for both individual and business loan applicants.
- You will recommend approval rejection or modification of loan applications based on your findings.
- You will ensure all underwriting decisions comply with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- You will prepare detailed credit assessment reports for management approval.
- You will monitor approved loans to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
- You will work closely with sales teams to clarify loan structures and support smooth client onboarding.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit assessments.
What Success looks like
- Loan applications are reviewed thoroughly and decisions are made accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
- Credit risk is consistently identified and assessed resulting in a healthy and well-managed loan portfolio.
- All underwriting decisions are fully compliant with internal credit policies and lending regulations with zero compliance breaches.
- Credit assessment reports are clear well-structured and consistently approved by management with minimal revisions.
- Strong collaboration with the sales team results in smooth loan processing and positive client experiences.
To be considered for this role you should have
- A Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Experience in credit analysis or underwriting within a financial services environment.
- Strong analytical and financial assessment skills.
- Knowledge of lending regulations and credit risk frameworks.
- High attention to detail and sound decision-making ability.
