Location:Remote with Travel
Reports To:Director of Quality
Direct Reports: Plant Quality Managers
Travel Requirement: 40% (tomultipleUSproduction sitesand other locations)
Position Summary:
TheRegionalQualityManageris responsible fordeveloping and executingthe strategicquality vision acrossmultipleproduction facilities. This role ensures consistent implementation of quality systems compliance with industry standards and continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence customer satisfaction and productconformance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a unified quality strategy across all plants.
- Align quality goals with corporateobjectivesand customer expectations.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve product quality and reduce defects.
Quality Systems & Compliance:
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of ISO9001 and other relevant quality standards.
- Ensure all plantscomply withregulatory customer and internal quality requirements.
- Lead audits (internal customer and third-party) and ensuretimelyresolution of findings.
Operational Excellence:
- Monitor and analyze quality KPIs across plants (e.g. FPY COPQ customercomplaints).
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Champion Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Team Development & Collaboration:
- Mentor and develop plant quality managers and teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability transparency and quality ownership.
- Collaborate with EngineeringProduction and Supply Chain to resolve systemic issues.
Customer & Supplier Engagement:
- Support associatedcustomerinteractionsas needed.
- Supportsupplier quality initiatives andactivities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality or related field.
- 5years of progressive qualityleadership experience in manufacturing.
- Multi-site management experiencepreferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001orotherrelevant standards.
- Exceptional leadership communication and analytical skills.
- Wire and Cable experiencea plus.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ Certificationsa plus.
Success Metrics:
- Reductionincustomer complaints.
- Improved plant-level qualityand operationalKPIs.
- Successful audit outcomes across all sites.
- Increased employee engagement in quality initiatives.
