The Role
You will teach History across KS3KS5 delivering a challenging and intellectually stimulating curriculum that encourages independent thought debate and scholarly writing.
At Key Stage 3 students are introduced to a broad and ambitious curriculum that develops strong chronological understanding alongside key historical concepts such as causation significance and interpretation. Teaching places a strong emphasis on discussion source evaluation and academic literacy.
At GCSE and A-Level students benefit from small class sizes enabling close academic support and high-level dialogue. Teaching focuses on depth of knowledge historiography and confident extended writing with excellent examination outcomes year on year.
