Geography Teacher – York (Independent Senior School)

The Role

You will teach Geography across KS3KS5 delivering a challenging and contemporary curriculum that balances physical and human geography with strong geographical skills.

At Key Stage 3 pupils develop secure foundations in map skills data analysis and geographical enquiry exploring topics such as ecosystems climate systems and global development. Lessons encourage curiosity debate and independent thinking.

At GCSE and A-Level small class sizes allow for in-depth exploration of complex topics including environmental change globalisation and resource management. Teaching focuses on developing evaluative writing confident use of case studies and strong exam technique.
