Job Summary
A well-established and highly regarded independent day school in the cathedral city of Lincoln is seeking to appoint an inspiring Teacher of English to join its flourishing English department. This is a full-time permanent role within a school that places academic excellence intellectual curiosity and personal development at the heart of its ethos.

The Role
You will teach English Language and Literature across KS3KS5 delivering a rich and ambitious curriculum that encourages close reading critical thinking and confident written and spoken expression.
At Key Stage 3 pupils are introduced to a wide range of literary texts developing analytical skills creativity and a genuine love of reading. Teaching places strong emphasis on discussion interpretation and academic writing from an early stage.
At GCSE and A-Level small class sizes allow for highly personalised teaching. Lessons focus on depth of understanding sophisticated analysis and the development of an authentic academic voice. Students are articulate motivated and eager to engage in high-level debate.
