About the role

We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner (P&C BP) who will play a strategic role in providing people advisory support to Practice Group Leaders Practice Managers Executive Managers and Partners within the firm.

The role will be aligned with up to three Practice Groups and/or Shared Services requiring valuable expertise on various people management matters including performance reviews resource management remuneration and budget setting; employee relations and policies and procedures.

The P&C BP will play a pivotal role in strengthening the firms culture of trust collaboration quality innovation and continuous improvement while strategically aligning people initiatives with the firms goals.

About the team

You will report directly to the People & Culture Manager and work alongside the existing People & Culture team and Talent Acquisition team.

About you

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • 5 years in a strategic People & Culture/HR Business Partnering or P&C Advisor role within a professional services business. Specific experience in legal financial services or consulting firms is highly desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Business Psychology or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to support senior leaders deliver strategic people outcomes and uplift workplace culture.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to link people strategy to legal practice outcomes.
  • Highly developed communication skills aligned with Bartier Perrys plainEnglish communication standard.
  • Strong coaching influencing and relationshipbuilding capabilities with senior leaders.
  • Analytical mindset with confidence using data to inform decisions.
  • High integrity discretion and a collaborative working style.
