Job Title: Technology Quality Technician

Duration: 5 Months

Work Location: Rosharon TX 77583

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type: Onsite

Shift: Night Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM. (Workweek begins Sunday night and ends Friday morning.)

Training: First 6 8 weeks on day shift for training (typically 8:00 AM 4:30 PM).

Job Description:

The Technology Quality Technician is responsible for conducting quality control activities including inspections tests and results reporting.
The Technology Quality Technician combines practical skills with understanding of the overall Quality Management System and the impact of nonconformances on the performance of equipment and systems.
Inspect documentation parts components materials subassemblies and equipment against stated specifications using measurement systems with valid calibration and acceptable repeatability and reproducibility.
Comply with applicable inspection procedures and standard work.
Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in compliance with applicable procedures and standard work.
Assist in designing tests and fixtures and their set-up.
Ensure all inspection and test activities are conducted safely.
Participate in creation and review of Hazard Analysis and Risk Control for these activities.
When authorized perform calibration of measurement systems.
Be familiar with inspection and test procedures standard work and test plans and provide input to continuously improve them.
Document the results of inspections and tests. Verify the stability of results over time as feasible.
Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement wherever applicable.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance (industry flexible).
Ability to read and comprehend standards procedures and technical documentation.
Strong math and basic measurement skills.
Able to use computer systems for data entry and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Nice-to-have: forklift experience (certification provided onsite).
Nice-to-have: familiarity with ISO-based Quality Management Systems.

Years of Experience

2 5 years preferred.

Education Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Demands

Lift 40 lbs (multiple times/day).
Frequent twisting bending leaning and stooping.
Operating a forklift.

Safety Requirements

Mandatory PPE at all times (coveralls safety glasses etc.).
Must follow site safety rules.
