Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with NY Team and Vender to ensure that product specifications are viable.
- Evaluating Fit sample / PPS / TOP.
- Support manager to follow up Inspection report / CAP.
- Communicate and drive calendar milestones in partnership with NY RTW team.
- Host the Weekly WIP call with factories NY/Vendor.
- Support Manager to approve materials and Shade bands review QC Files.
- Support onboarding of new SPs.
- Visiting manufacturing sites and reporting back to senior management (MLC 2-3 times/quarterly).
- Handling a range of admin duties packing sample and send parcel.
- Support Manager to establish quality control standards and SOP.
- Ensuring all products are high-quality and that they conform to company standards and brand values.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in fashion technical design or a related field. Bachelors degree is preferable.
- 5 years experience for Sr. merchandising position.
- Practical experience with software like Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and CAD Microsoft Office.
- Experience in working with sample rooms patternmakers and factories.
- Knowledge with pattern and grading rule marker.
- The ability to justify design changes.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Deadline-driven and committed to quality.
- Strong communication skills in written & spoken English.
- High attention to detail.
- Luxury brand background a plus.
