We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead the integration of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) across organisational programmes. The Manager will provide comprehensive support for programme administration strategic planning and reporting ensuring that HSS activities are effectively coordinated monitored and aligned with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting systems to monitor the impact of HSS initiatives.
Embed organisational frameworks as core strategic elements aligning activities with broader organisational goals.
Establish systems for data collection and impact reporting.
Identify opportunities for collaboration and alignment with external partners.
Work closely with senior leaders to promote interdisciplinary initiatives.
Engage with key stakeholders to identify and respond to emerging needs in HSS activities.
Contribute to the planning development and execution of strategic organisational programmes.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
PhD in Humanities or Social Sciences (required)
Postgraduate management qualification (advantageous)
Minimum of 8 years experience in professional or academic environments with at least 5 years in a mid- to senior management role
Experience in developing policies procedures and performance frameworks
Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders including directors managers and academic leaders
Skills and Competencies
Strong leadership and strategic thinking
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Exceptional writing and analytical abilities
Organisational and prioritisation skills
Project and performance management
Ability to manage change effectively and work independently under pressure
