Description of the Position:

The Manager Acquisition Marketing role (internally known as Manager Acquisition Marketing Recurring Revenue) is a 20-month contract. This role is responsible for the strategy and management of the face-to-face donor acquisition portfolio focusing on door-to-door and mall/venue fundraising.

You will:

  • Collaborate with Associate Director Acquisition Recurring Revenue to develop innovative strategies for face-to-face monthly donor acquisition across the following channels: door-to-door mall/public venues Billy Bishop airport internal employee program.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors to oversee fundraising and stewardship efforts and hold vendors accountable to annual plans.
  • Execute programs from end to end including writing and presenting briefs ongoing program optimization tracking and post analysis:
  • Develop annual donor/revenue/expense forecasts and budgets and manage reforecasting exercises as needed.
  • Analyze results optimize performance identify trends and monitor KPIs for key programs.
  • Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Associate to provide training for all external fundraisers by ensuring accurate representation of SickKids Foundation brand in market.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on specific programs (i.e. attrition trends lifetime value) on an ad hoc basis and incorporate due diligence tactics including mystery shopping focus groups and surveys.
  • Conduct competitive reviews attend seminars/webinars and engage partners/peers/industry/ discussions to learn best practices and develop optimization opportunities for ongoing programs.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the Associate on the team.

Qualifications:â

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role

  • Post-secondary education in business marketing fundraising or a related discipline preferred; candidates with relevant professional experience and demonstrated success in acquisition or fundraising leadership will also be considered.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in acquisition marketing with a strong emphasis on face-to-face (F2F) fundraising or customer acquisition programs (e.g. door-to-door mall/venue-based airport or other in-person channels).
  • Demonstrated success managing high-volume performance-based acquisition programs with clear accountability for revenue ROI and monthly performance pacing.
  • Direct experience owning or contributing to recurring revenue subscription-based or monthly donor programs including understanding of retention attrition and lifetime value metrics. Experience growing sustained/monthly giving programs is strongly preferred.
  • Strong vendor and agency management experience including setting performance expectations holding partners accountable to targets managing contracts and invoices and ensuring cost efficiencies. Experience overseeing national or multi-market programs is an asset.
  • Currently operating at Manager level or a seasoned Senior Specialist ready to step into broader budget vendor and people leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across internal teams (e.g. analytics finance creative operations) to execute complex acquisition initiatives.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic business development opportunities and develop/lead such initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage annual revenue and expense forecasts lead reforecasting exercises and optimize performance based on KPI tracking and financial analysis.
  • Experience with results tracking analysis and budget control reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop briefs present performance updates and influence internal and external stakeholders.

Total Compensation Package:

Expected Hiring Salary Range: $82064 $102582; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $117971. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation placement on the salary range will be based on your years of experience skills and qualifications relevant to the Manager Acquisition & Recurring Revenue.

Position Status: Temporary Full-Time Contract (20 Months)

Hours: Hybrid work model: minimum two days per week in-office (Tuesday and Wednesday).
