Description of the Position:

The Manager Acquisition Recurring Revenue Marketing (20 month contract) is responsible for executing monthly donor acquisition campaigns to support the Recurring Revenue marketing goals. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing critical high volume acquisition programs (door-to-door fundraising mall/venue fundraising) identifying improvement and optimization opportunities leveraging integrated campaigns and new initiatives.

You will:

  • Collaborate with Associate Director Acquisition Recurring Revenue to develop innovative strategies for face-to-face monthly donor acquisition across the following channels: door-to-door mall/public venues Billy Bishop airport internal employee programs;
  • Manage external agencies and vendors to oversee fundraising and stewardship efforts and hold vendors accountable to annual plans
  • Execute programs from end to end including writing and presenting briefs ongoing program optimization tracking and post analysis
  • Develop annual donor/revenue/expense forecasts and budgets and manage reforecasting exercises as needed
  • Manage optimization and monitoring of KPls for key programs
  • Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Support Associate to provide training for all external fundraisers by ensuring accurate representation of SickKids Foundation brand in market
  • Incorporate due diligence tactics including call monitoring mystery shopping focus groups and surveys
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on specific programs (i.e. attrition trends lifetime value) on an ad hoc basis
  • Conduct competitive reviews attend seminars/webinars and engage partners/peers/industry/ discussions to learn best practices and develop optimization opportunities for ongoing programs
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the Associate on the team
  • Develop and test new strategies for the acquisition program inclusive of A/B testing and optimization
  • Oversee a marketing budget tracking all invoices holding vendors accountable and managing expenses to ensure cost efficiencies
  • Manage data and knowledge transfer between SickKids Foundation and partners including proper JIRA requests data formats while adhering to business rules
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Qualifications:â

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role

  • University degree in business marketing fundraising or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in marketing with a strong focus on face-to-face programs and campaigns that have driven results
  • Demonstrated experience managing external partners including creative and media agencies and executional partners
  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic business development opportunities and develop/lead such initiatives
  • Strong business data and financial acumen with advanced analytical and financial modelling experience
  • Experience with results tracking analysis and budget control reporting
  • Superior communication skills in addition to well-developed presentation abilities
  • Knowledge or experience within the not-for-profit sector would be considered an asset
  • Strong project management skills considered an asset

Total Compensation Package:

Expected Hiring Salary Range: $82064 $102582; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $117971. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation placement on the salary range will be based on your years of experience skills and qualifications relevant to the Manager Acquisition & Recurring Revenue.

Position Status: Temporary Full-Time Contract (20 Months)

Hours: Hybrid work model: minimum two days per week in-office (Tuesday and Wednesday).
