Description of Work
**This position is an anticipated vacancy**This position is in the Quality Assurance Problem Resolution of Vehicle Services. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vehicle title and registration application. This position conducts thorough reviews of vehicle title/registration applications and documents; identify errors created by LPAs On-Line Dealers and DMV sections/units; provide solutions to errors; corresponds with LPAs On-Line Dealers DMV section/units and the public to correct errors regarding the processing of vehicles titles and registration.
This position processes refund requests for license plates that have been surrendered to the DMV. Ensure the correct Highway Use tax has been paid ensure the Federal Heavy Highway use Tax has been paid; processes Indemnity Bonds courts order judicial sales abandoned vehicles mechanics/storage liens and expedited sales; respond to telephone calls from dealers branch offices customers and other DMV Units; reviewing and correcting scanned documents that do not image properly; identifying the problem relating to why documents were not scanned/imaged correctly determine the solution and taking action to resolve the problem.

Salary Grade and Salary Range: Grade: NC08 Salary: $ $37782 - $66120
Management prefers applicants with the following:
- Demonstrated ability to use correct grammar spelling and vocabulary to compose/proofread correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain policies procedures and law.
- Experience with Microsoft office applications and/or Mainframe databases.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing detailed documents and/or records for authenticity.
- Experience in collecting fees and reconciling a cash drawer.
Minimum Education and Experience
