Job Summary

Role: Business Development Officer

Salary: Depending on experience

Location: Miami (hybrid - minimum 3 days in the office)

AVASK Global Compliance are a rapidly expanding international firm that specialise in VAT tax and accounting for e-commerce businesses. AVASK assist hundreds of Amazon FBA sellers as well as entrepreneurs across eBay Shopify and many other platforms. Providing clients with a comprehensive range of expertise - from practical guidance on cross-border transactions to ensuring they are fully compliant.

Due to continued growth AVASK are now looking to recruit a Business Officer to proactively engage and convert hot new business leads.

Business Development Officer the role

  • Serve as the main point of contact providing tailored services and ensuring compliance.

  • Proactively handle all service inquiries converting them into new opportunities.

  • Grow revenue by cross-selling services engaging new clients and meeting monthly/quarterly/yearly KPIs.

  • Run webinars podcasts identify new opportunities and attend industry events to network and represent the firm.

  • Produce marketing material with external partners and other service providers.

  • Assist in maintaining partner relationships via organising events and managing network groups.

  • Able to take full management responsibility for a portfolio of clients expanding over the UK and the rest of Europe.

  • Ensure that all databases and systems are accurate and complete.

  • Demonstrating and applying commercial acumen.

  • Collaborate with the team in a positive manner.

  • Actively connecting with Managers and Directors to suggest any contributions to improve procedures.

  • Previous experience in Accountancy is not essential as full training will be provided.

Business Development Officer about you

  • A background in direct sales and customer service.

  • Confident professional and friendly so customer relationships are of the highest quality.

  • Excellent telephone and writing skills.

  • Motivated to achieve targets and interested in helping customers expand & improve their business.

  • Organised with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent multi-tasking ability.

  • Works well in a team as well as independently.

  • Patience and emotional resilience for dealing with customers.

  • Actively listen to customers then smoothly handle & overcome any objections.

  • Able to handle complaints and remain calm under pressure.
