POSITION SUMMARYThe Business Development Associate Director will collaborate with Atlas Ambulatory Surgery Center operations and engage all current physician medical staff at Atlas facilities within a defined market to drive internal organic growth and recruit new providers. The Business Development Associate Director will build relationships with our in-market operations leaders key support center internal partners and our Joint Venture partner to create an aligned winning culture driving organic revenue growth and new recruit growth which will lead to sustainable market share gains across an assigned market. Youll collaborate with teammates surgery centers support teams surgeons and physician offices building meaningful relationships across the market and Atlas youre a people person who brings high energy and a competitive spirit youll feel right at you enjoy dynamic environments where youre constantly learning and dislike routine or monotony this role will keep you engaged and You Will Drive ExcellenceDevelop deep expertise across all aspects of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) and service lines as you support multiple facilities surgeons and physician both private practice and employed physicians driving market-wide growth strategies in collaboration with operational leadership at Atlas Healthcare Partners and Joint Venture case volume and strengthen relationships with existing physicians by being inquisitive solutions-oriented and proactive in identifying dissatisfiers and growth your OR experience to engage in strategic high-level conversations and build trusted partnerships with surgeons who value your clinical insight and operational FUNCTIONSCollaborates with multiple stakeholders including internal operations and clinical staff corporate development team physicians and their respective staff payer representatives and all health system employees to articulate the Atlas vision and create Synthesizes and executes upon an in-market growth strategy to identify segment source attract and convert new leads into case volumes. Evaluates the current customer base and develops physician alignment and referral networking plans to reach more leads for operational Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) in partnership with Ambulatory Surgery Center Chief Executive Officers and physician owners. Creates and executes plans to earn more cases or different kinds of cases from existing medical staff. Evaluates the current customer base and develops strategic growth plans for operational Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) in partnership with Ambulatory Surgery Center Chief Executive Officers and physician owners through analyzing physician practices and building economic models for decision-making on a physician recruiting strategy in partnership with the market Development lead and Operations lead to accelerate new project development. Identifies in the market acquisitions and De Novo opportunities. Creates and self-manages a detailed dashboard charting a growth pipeline to achieve revenue goals. Engages in the entire sales process daily from lead generation and prospecting through objection handling closing and customer as liaison between Health System Medical Group and Health System Payor Network and aligned Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) with medical device imaging diagnostic and all other healthcare sales representatives to identify new leads and growth data sales calls and activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) customized improvement plans based on physician needs for continuous process improvement at the duties as all functions according to established policies procedures regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as applicable professional standards. Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented as outlined by the incumbents immediate QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree in Business Communications Health and Science or a related Track record of success in a direct sales role preferably in the healthcare industry. Knowledge of Service Lines/Specialties with relationships usually formed over 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar with Microsoft Office suite applications (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMBA/masters degree in Business Communication Health and Science or related field.5 Years leading health-related sales territory/market.3 Years of surgical (OR) sales DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT FACTORSThis is a field-based position as the primary role is to engage with customers in their place of extensive driving with periodic standing and be required to lift up to 20 a reliable vehicle (reimbursement plan included)Requires significant use of personal computer phone and general office ability to communicate effectively through reading writing and speaking in person or on travel to all facilities located with a market which may include multiple states or RESPONSIBILITIESNoneDIRECTLY REPORTINGReports to Associate Vice President Business DevelopmentTYPE OF SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneSCOPE AND COMPLEXITYThis is field based position. Must be comfortable working remotely and independently with limited supervision. Must be comfortable with making multiple sales calls daily developing a plan or roadmap and executing a plan to achieve revenue growth goals. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable communicating with executives physicians and clinical team members. Must be able to interpret claims data analytics and understand financial models. This role will be responsible for full-cycle business development support for all Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) with a focus on a defined portfolio within a broader new markets this role may be responsible for growth of the entire market portfolio in mature markets this role will focus primarily on customer retention and organic growth and recruitment of and a hybrid of low to medium complexity service lines including but not limited to: ENT GENERAL GI DPM Interventional Pain and Urology.
