• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily instruction and classroom activities for Pre-K students
• Support learning experiences in literacy math science STEM/STEAM art sensory play and hands-on exploration
• Help implement Creative Curriculum lesson plans and thematic units
• Set up and maintain classroom learning centers and instructional materials
• Promote social-emotional learning positive behavior and cooperative play
• Observe and support childrens developmental progress and assist with documentation for portfolios and family communication
• Communicate with families through the centers parent engagement application (training provided)
• Maintain a clean organized and safe classroom in compliance with RIDHS child care licensing standards
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities while maintaining required ratios
• Provide classroom coverage and float between classrooms when needed
• Participate in team meetings professional development and required training
  
  

• High school diploma or GED required
• CDA RIELDS coursework or early childhood education training preferred
• Experience working with preschool-age children in a child care center preschool camp or similar setting
• Strong teamwork communication and classroom support skills
• Patient dependable and enthusiastic about play-based and child-centered learning
• Comfort using digital parent communication platforms is a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
