Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling a variety of tasks such as scheduling meetings managing correspondence maintaining records and assisting with day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars schedule appointments and coordinate meetings.
- Prepare and edit correspondence reports and presentations.
- Answer and direct phone calls emails and other communications.
- Maintain and organize filing systems (electronic and physical).
- Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting.
- Order office supplies and manage inventory.
- Support team projects and provide general administrative assistance.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with office management systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
