DescriptionHomewood Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences operational efficiency and financial performance. This role leads service teams maintains quality and safety standards manages budgets and partners with culinary leadership to deliver consistent high quality offerings across all outlets.
Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets including restaurants bars lounges banquets and special events
- Ensure exceptional service standards and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain compliance with all health safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of outlets storage areas and service standards
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit train schedule and supervise food and beverage staff
- Foster a positive professional and accountable team culture
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development
- Ensure proper staffing levels to meet business demands
Financial Management
- Manage departmental budgets labor costs and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Monitor sales revenue and expenses to meet or exceed financial goals
- Oversee inventory control ordering and vendor relationships
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability
Menu & Product Oversight
- Collaborate with Executive Chef and bar leadership on menu development and pricing
- Ensure consistency quality and presentation of food and beverages
- Monitor trends and guest feedback to enhance offerings
Events & Special Functions
- Coordinate and execute banquets catering and special events
- Ensure seamless communication between culinary service and sales teams
- Uphold brand and service standards during all functions
Qualifications- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Homewood policies procedures and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Meet departmental productivity organization punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
- Treat Members guests vendors customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
- Maintain privacy of our members and guests at all time.
- Always maintain a clean and neat appearance.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees supervisors managers and directors.
- Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
- Project a favorable image of Homewood to Members and guests at all times.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Assist with monthly end inventory
