The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Accounts Officer to support our project teams. A key focus of this role is ensuring project invoices are prepared accurately approved by Project Managers and issued on time in line with contracts.

You will also play a vital role in tracking budgets monitoring project financials and progress and schedule and provide financial insights and support for new bids and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project managers to invoice projects in a timely manner and in line with project contracts
  • Perform end to end project cost management functions including budget tracking variance analysis change management accruals purchase order management and identify emerging risks.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of project budgets and schedules in our PMS
  • Monitor project progress and performance against milestones and deadlines
  • Support the bid and project lead on all proposal for financial support ensuring project margins are in line with company strategy.

About You

  • At least 3 years experience in project accounts or similar
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
  • A proactive team focused attitude with a strong attention to detail
