Synergie Australia is seeking a Project Engineerfor atrusted client located in Laverton North.

The important parts:

  • Pay:$40$60 per hour Super Duration:12-month contract (potential for extension)
  • Hours:MondayFriday rotating roster between 8:00am6:00pm 38 hrs per week

What you will be required to do:

This role delivers safe compliant capital projects from concept to completion coordinating design contractors budgets and reliability outcomes.

  • Lead end-to-end CAPEX project planning design tendering and execution
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors to meet safety quality cost and schedule targets
  • Ensure compliance with process safety MOC regulatory and engineering standards
  • Review and validate designs installations and technical documentation
  • Monitor budgets schedules and project performance trends
  • Embed reliability RCM and continuous improvement principles into project delivery

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Degree-qualified Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with 5 years experience delivering projects in manufacturing or process-driven environments
  • Strong knowledge of process safety risk management MOC and Australian/Victorian plant regulations
  • Proven capability in contractor site safety and construction management including tendering and procurement
  • Solid technical grounding in plant design heat and mass transfer reliability engineering RCA and FMEA
  • Proficient in project management tools and documentation with strong written and verbal communication skills
