Our Client is a market leader e-commerce marketplace in CEE. We are looking for an experienced and communicative leader to shape the end-to-end user experience this role you will define the UX vision build a strong UX design and research function of the marketplace.

HEAD OF UX

Location: Budapest Hungary

THE JOB

• Define and own the UX vision and strategy aligned with business goals and the product roadmap.
• Lead mentor and grow a high-performing team of UX designers and UX researchers (team of 10).
• Build and scale a UX research program that informs product and business decisions.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research (user interviews usability testing surveys analytics field studies).
• Oversee end-to-end UX from discovery to delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to balance user needs technical feasibility and business value.
• Establish and maintain UX/UI standards guidelines and design systems.
• Promote best practices in usability accessibility and inclusive design.

THE PERSON

• 8 years experience in UX leadership roles with responsibility for both UX design and UX research.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful UX work user research and strategic design thinking.
• Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance user needs with business strategy and technical constraints.
• Fluent English and Hungarian (CEE language skillis a plus).
• Deep understanding of travel/e-commerce marketplaces booking flows and customer psychology is a plus.
