WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As the PR Manager you will play a critical role in helping to define monitor and sustain external relations reporting directly to the Head of Public Relations and Communications. You will collaborate across the organization contributing to the development of innovative PR strategies and monitoring and measuring share of voice and other metrics as appropriate. This role offers the opportunity to combine your passion for PR and storytelling to help shape the success of our brand.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Assist in the development of industry-leading external communications strategies across media categories working with the Head of PR and Communications.
- Identify new media and ways of working together with the PR agency.
- Monitor media and share of voice and own the relationship with agency support.
- Serve as company spokesperson at external events.
- Align internal and external communications objectives working with the PR social media Growth and Experiential teams
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Bachelors degree or experience in marketing advertising or a related field.
- 7 years of PR experience (i.e. client-side agency-side media) with a proven track record of strategic story placements in automotive and non-automotive publications.
- Experience defining and articulating a brands unique positioning ensuring it resonates with target audiences and aligns with company values.
- Durable relationships among automotive media and journalists/influencers in other areas.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Knowledge of PR tracking metrics market research methodologies and competitive analysis.
- Experience working within cross-functional teams and guiding projects through various departments including creative social and growth.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
- Must love cars! Youll be thinking about cars all day every day and its the most fun when you love cars.
