Role Summary
- The Project Manager will be responsible for end to end project execution ensuring robust governance effective stakeholder management and timely delivery of project outcomes.
- This role requires strong leadership communication and the ability to work collaboratively across cross functional teams to drive successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Delivery
- Lead end to end project planning execution monitoring and closure.
- Define project scope objectives timelines and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans schedules and resource allocation models.
- Track progress against milestones and maintain project documentation.
- Manage risks issues dependencies and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to delivery standards timelines and quality benchmarks.
2. Governance & Compliance
- Establish and manage project governance frameworks and forums.
- Prepare and present periodic governance reports dashboards and status updates.
- Maintain compliance with organizational project management standards (PMO frameworks).
- Ensure documentation accuracy audit readiness and adherence to approved processes.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to define expectations and outcomes.
- Facilitate structured stakeholder reviews presentations and communications.
- Manage expectations resolve conflicts and drive alignment across teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project communication and escalations.
4. Cross Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with business technology operations and vendor teams to execute project tasks.
- Ensure smooth coordination between distributed and remote teams.
- Drive accountability across all project contributors.
5. Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to strategic planning for projects and portfolios.
- Recommend process improvements automation and best practices for project delivery.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and delivery capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 12 years of relevant experience in project management.
- Experience managing multi location and cross functional teams.
- Prior exposure to governance frameworks and structured PMO environments is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management governance and delivery.
- Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid).
- High proficiency in tools like MS Project JIRA Confluence Excel PowerPoint.
- Understanding of business processes technology implementations and enterprise systems.
- Must be onsite at the client in Salt Lake City UT 3 days/wk.
