Our client a leading speciality chemical Manufacturing company based in Cape Town is looking to fill the temporary position of Sales Administrator.
Purpose of the Role:
To ensure all activities with regards to sales stock and credits are handled in a professional timeous manner with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration:
- Ensure all filing is accurately filed and up to date.
- Distribution administrator.
- Ensure that the correct business units / target markets are invoiced and informing the line manager of any occurrences where this is not the case.
Sales:
- Process distribution and industry orders timeously.
- Capture invoices onto Axapta with accuracy.
- Control cash sales.
Stock Control:
- Reduction of credits and communication with the operations manager regarding stock shortages and deliveries.
- Ensure proper communication of the above is sent to all staff involved in the process.
- Co-ordinate stock movement and stock levels (rotation of old stock).
- Assist with all stock take procedures and counts.
General:
- Undertake such additional duties which may from time to time be assigned to the Employee in the discharge of his / her duties.
- Ensure that all company property is used properly and maintained at a high level at all times.
- Ensure that a correct and proper image of the company is maintained at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate / Matric or NQF 4 qualification
- Must have 2-3 years experience in a sales administrative function
- Logistics qualification is an advantage
Special Requirements:
- Regular and on time attendance
- Will be required to work overtime
