Job Summary

Position Role: Principal Staff Officer responsible for Bde management plans training policy and finance.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead on Force Preparation planning from 1 to 4 years out for all units including UK Ops Ops and OTXs.
2. Lead staff officer for all G7 Training matters from planning coordination conduct and resources.
3. Lead staff officer for all G8 Finance matters managing the Bdes Trg Budget of circa 12-15M per annum including the Annual Budgetary Cycle.
4. Lead staff officer supporting all BCS at TL Delta and below providing lead on coordination bookings and resources.
5. Lead staff officer supporting units on prioritisation and coordination of training resources with 3(UK) Div.
6. Plan and co-ordinate formation exercises with COS.
7. Deployed role is SO2 G3 commanding Bde Fwd (Control 2) CP. Responsible to train and prepare Control 2.
8. Produce verbal and written briefs up to 3* on training resourcing and financial matters
9. Provide management planning advice for all Bde staff and Unit 2ICs.
10. LO into 3 (UK) Div during deployment
