Job Description:
Microchip is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our cybersecurity effort with the following responsibilities :
- Lead Cybersecurity implementation across multiple MCU projects
- Guide our product development teams on cybersecurity execution queries
- Collaborate with experts and develop threat models/threat analysis and risk assessment(TARA) to analyze cybersecurity risksfor different MCU secure configurations including life cycle management support.
- Support Internal and External vulnerability Analysis and Triage.
- In general this is a hands-on role with huge growth potential in the Semiconductor cybersecurity industry.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience specifically within thesemiconductororsemiconductor cybersecuritysectors.
- Relevant experience includessemiconductor product developmentMCU/MPU applications andSoC architecture design verification or validation.
- Relevant cybersecurity experience includes knowledge of cybersecurity standards like ISO/SAE 21434 IEC 62443 etc.
- Working knowledge of Tools like Polarion JIRA bitbucket etc.
- Hands-on SW tools or system development or testing experience.
- Project Management experience working with multiple project teams.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 ASPICE and other SW development standards is a plus.
- Cybersecurity Certifications from independent auditing/certification providers is preferred.
Preferred requirements:
- Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering .
- Experience working on Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment for Semiconductor devices or systems

The annual base salary range for this position which could be performed in the US is $70304 - $205000.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location skills and experience.
