Position: Administrative Assistant I
Location: Wilmington NC 28402
Job Type: 12 Months Contract
Job Description:
The Engineering Project Admin will be responsible for providing support to the engineering project this role you will be responsible for creating meeting agendas and calendar invitations documenting meeting minutes creating and closing out follow-up actions for various project team meetings. The Admin will also track monthly performance indicators for the engineering team using MS Excel.
- Report to the Engineering Operations Manager.
- Be accountable for on-time delivery of assigned products and support.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with engineering managers project managers project engineers and other stakeholders.
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including schedules reports meeting notes and status updates.
- Organize and participate in project meetings preparing agendas and documenting action items and next steps.
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance project efficiency and team collaboration.
Must Have
- Associates degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in business environment
- Proficiency in using computer applications. Experience in word processing presentation packages and spreadsheet packages. Proficient with MS Word PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Adobe software to be able to create/modify PDF files.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
