Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 10 years of structural design experience to lead building projects serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) manage client relationships and oversee project execution. This role requires strong expertise in structural analysis building design project management and team leadership. The ideal candidate has consulting firm experience and holds an active Nevada P.E. or S.E. license.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Engineering
-
Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for new construction and renovation projects

Perform structural design calculations and analysis of building systems
-
Prepare structural drawings specifications and technical documentation
-
Conduct structural assessments and write building condition reports
-
Perform site visits in Las Vegas and surrounding regions
Project Management
-
Develop project scopes work plans and budgets
-
Monitor project schedules costs and deliverables
-
Allocate engineering resources and manage team workloads
-
Ensure projects meet client requirements timelines and financial targets
Client & Business Development
-
Build and maintain client relationships
-
Support business development initiatives with existing and new clients
-
Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance
Leadership & Mentorship
-
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
-
Review calculations and design work for quality and accuracy
-
Promote continuous improvement and technical excellence
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
-
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) - Nevada
-
Registered with the Nevada Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors
-
Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience

Experience working in a consulting engineering firm

Strong knowledge of building codes and structural systems

Experience serving as Engineer of Record (EOR)

Proficiency with RISA RAM ETABS SAFE or similar structural analysis software
-
Experience with structural calculations load analysis and seismic design
-
Strong project management skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
-
Ability to travel for site visits
