As a Lead Financial Analyst in our Global Inventory Center of Excellence you will directly influence accurate inventory reporting partner closely with global stakeholders and drive process improvements that strengthen decisionmaking across Stryker. What You Will Do
- Calculate and prepare journal entry input files and complex journal entries to support accurate monthend close.
- Analyze and reconcile inventoryrelated balance sheet and P&L accounts ensuring compliance with GAAP and Stryker policies.
- Maintain and monitor assigned subprocesses (GRNI/GIT Costing E&O Asset Management) ensuring timely and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
- Validate and reconcile inventory reports to the General Ledger ensuring required IPE documentation is complete and accurate.
- Conduct complex data analysis to identify trends evaluate reserve levels and provide actionable insights for strategic and operational decisions.
- Support compliance activities including internal controls SOX requirements and audit requests ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
- Develop and update process documentation and enhance reporting tools (e.g. advanced Excel formulas Power BI workspaces).
- Lead process improvement initiatives contributing to integrations transitions automation solutions and system implementations.
What You Will Need
Required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years experience in complex inventory accounting or other complex accounting functions in a global organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Preferred
- CPA/ACCA qualification.
- Experience working in a Center of Excellence or matrixed organization.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Oracle SAP MFG or JDE systems.
- Additional languages such as Spanish Polish or Dutch.
